Our restorative health team, has decades of combined experience, treating patients in the Lowcountry and Coastal Empire. Together, Dr. Hinshelwood, MD, Dr. McGinnis, DC and Dr. Kevin Muthersbaugh, DC have brought consistent and quality care to patients in our area. Bringing the most advanced techniques and therapies to the Fraum Center, they've aided in the recovery of thousands.

Dr. Heather Hinshelwood

As a proponent of healthy living, Dr. H is passionate about influencing friends, family and patients to make healthier choices to improve their lives. She believes that there are no amount of drugs and interventions that can reverse the corrosive effects of obesity, inactivity and substance misuse.

 

HENRY CRISS | CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Henry Criss serves as the managing partner at The Fraum Center for Restorative Health, driven by a commitment to enhance patient care and advance restorative health practices. As a Marine Corps Veteran, he applies a collaborative leadership style to the medical sector with expertise in healthcare service management, public policy work, and accounting. Henry is an active community member through the local Rotary Club and United Way. He holds a B.S. from Liberty University, an MPA, and is furthering his education with an MBA at the Citadel Graduate College.

DR. BRIAN MCGINNIS

Since 2000, Dr. McGinnis has provided the community of Hilton Head Island with state-of-the-art chiropractic care for patients wishing to recover from injury, optimize their health and wellness, and pursue an active lifestyle.

DR. KEVIN MUTHERSBAUGH

Dr. Kevin brings over 25 years of chiropractic experience to The Fraum Center. He earned his Doctorate from Life University in 1997, and specializes in both immediate pain relief and long-term health strategies through traditional chiropractic methods. His holistic and personalized approach caters to patients of all ages. Dr. Kevin is excited to join The Fraum Center team and continue his commitment to patient health..

EMILY CARNES | LICENSED AESTHETICIAN

Emily has lived in the Lowcountry with her husband, Jason, and two sons, Grayson and Hayes, since 2012. After years in medical sales, Emily decided to stay home to raise her family. During that time, she developed a huge passion for all things skin which led her to go back to school to get her Aesthetics license. Her passion is in the medical, results driven side of aesthetics. She is licensed in SC and TX. Some of Emily’s favorite services include chemical peels, Virtue RF Microneedling, Cool Peel laser and dermaplaning. She is also very passionate about skincare and finding the perfect fit for each individual. In her free time, you can find her reading a good book or birdwatching on her back porch.

MEGAN BURRISS | LICENSED AESTHETICIAN

Megan is a native of the SC Lowcountry and loves Lowcountry living. She trained as an aesthetician at Advanced Aesthetics Academy in Okatie and has been practicing since 2022. Before joining our team, Megan worked with luxury brands in the aesthetics and hospitality spaces. Megan is passionate about skin health and helping others "glow from the inside out." In her free time, she enjoys caring for animals and reading fantasy novels.

MARISSA MITTER, MPAS, PA-C | PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Marissa Mitter, MPAS, PA-C, is a dedicated healthcare professional originally from Southern California who has called the Lowcountry home since 2014. A graduate of Anderson University, Marissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology while excelling as a collegiate volleyball player. She went on to obtain her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Presbyterian College, where she honed her clinical skills and developed a passion for providing patient-centered care. Marissa’s commitment to health and wellness reflects her dedication to helping individuals achieve their best selves. Her diverse interests and strong community involvement make her a valued member of the region she now proudly calls home.

 

KELLY MELARA | FRONT DESK COORDINATOR

Born in Miami and raised in West Virginia, Kelly became a lowcountry local after falling in love with the area after spending many vacations on the island. Since working at the Fraum Center for Restorative Health, Kelly says her favorite part of her role is getting to see the patient’s and their health thrive. Not to mention, she loves her work family too!

 

DALTON SHAW | Restorative Medicine Technologist

 
Dalton is a Hilton Head native, born and raised on the island. He grew up playing every sport imaginable and went to Anderson University on a baseball scholarship where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Dalton has always enjoyed being part of the medical field and has had previous experiences as an ER Tech. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and hanging out with his German shepherd, Apollo. Dalton enjoys helping provide care in any way he can to all of the Fraum patients each day. From the moment they walk in the door, to their therapy services, to seeing the incredible progress they make after!

 

PAIGE ALLGIRE | Restorative Medicine Technologist

 
Paige is a native of the Lowcountry being from Charleston, SC and moved to Bluffton in 2017 to attend nursing school at USCB while she worked as a nurse extern at Coastal Carolina Hospital. She then switched majors and pursued a career in Hospitality management! She is so excited to get to know all of her future patients and be a part of the Fraum team!

 

CAMBRIA SAMS | Insurance and Billing Specialist

 
Cambria is originally from San Diego, CA and has called the Lowcountry home for over ten years. She has a background as a medical technologist and billing and coding specialist and is certified as a medical coder and biller by the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA). Cambria has an associated degree from New England Institute of Technology and later completed her medical coding and billing training at Purdue Global. Cambria enjoys helping our patients navigate the complexities of their insurance plans and maximize their ability to use their benefits. When away from the office, Cambria can be found spending time with her family and enjoying the beach.
